Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-10-01

BargeDraft is operated by INTEGRIS GROUP, LLC, under its INTEGRIS Loadout Solutions brand (“we”, “us”). This policy describes what information the BargeDraft service collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the BargeDraft web application and to the alert messages the service sends.

1. Information we collect

We collect two kinds of information:

  • Account and contact information provided by a customer’s administrators: the name, work email address and, for alert contacts, the mobile phone number of the people a customer chooses to give access to the service or to enrol for alert notifications. Customers add this information themselves; we do not collect it from the public or from third parties.
  • Barge telemetry from monitoring hardware installed at a customer’s dock: freeboard and draft readings, sensor battery and signal levels, sensor and tower identifiers, timestamps, and the alarm states the dock equipment reports. This information describes barges and equipment, not people.

We also keep the ordinary records a web service keeps to operate securely, such as sign-in events and the time an alert message was sent.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • operate the BargeDraft service: show each customer the state of its own barges, keep a history of readings, and let customer administrators manage who has access;
  • send alert notifications by SMS text message and email to the contacts a customer has configured, when the dock equipment reports an alarm or stops reporting;
  • support customers and keep the service secure and reliable.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build profiles of individuals.

3. How we share information

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We share information only with the service providers that help us run BargeDraft — hosting, database and messaging providers — and only as needed to provide the service. For example, a contact’s phone number is passed to our SMS messaging provider in order to deliver an alert message to that contact. These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Within a customer’s own organisation, barge telemetry and alert history are visible to that customer’s users. No customer can see another customer’s information. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

4. SMS alert messages and your choices

Alert messages are sent only to phone numbers enrolled by a customer’s administrator, who confirms at the time of enrolment that the person has agreed to receive BargeDraft alert messages. Message frequency varies with alarm activity. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for help. Your customer administrator can also remove your number from the alert contacts at any time. Opting out of SMS does not affect any email alerts the administrator has configured for you.

5. Retention and security

Account and contact information is kept while the customer’s account is active and while the person remains an enrolled contact; it is removed when the administrator removes it. Barge telemetry is kept as operating history for the customer. Information is stored with access controls that keep each customer’s data separate, and transmitted over encrypted connections.

6. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after a change means the updated policy applies.
